The life cycle of primary statistical operations is the subject of the Statistical Production Procedures Handbook (in the approval stage), as shown in Figure 2.

The processes are divided into sub-processes and tasks, as shown in the table below, establishing the relationship between the life cycle to be approved at METIS meetings and the life cycle used at the SP.

The table below (Figure 3) details only the processes and tasks needed to compare the two life cycles.
