UNECE’s second seminar on data collection looked at Big Data, new sources, new approaches to management and centralisation, and mixed-mode collection, among other topics.  The focus was on the organizational-level implications of the rapidly-changing data environment.  The goal of the seminar was to bring data collection specialists together to help the statistical community to rise to the new challenges by sharing knowledge and experience across organizations.
