UN/CEFACT Core Components Working Group and ATG will hold a joing F2F meeting in Washington DC from 22 - 26 June 2009.  Principal focus area will be the Context Methodology work.  Additionally, Data Type Catalogue, XML NDR, and CCTS open issues will be addressed.

About the Ronald Reagan Building

The Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center is located on historic Pennsylvania Avenue in the heart of Washington, DC, within walking distance of the White House, the Capitol, Smithsonian Museums, many of Washington, DC's finest hotels and other prominent businesses, historical sites and cultural organizations. All building accesses are controlled by security - but no special passes are required.
The SAP Public Services Offices are located in the North Tower of the RR Building - directly facing Pennsylvania Avenue.  The layout of the RR Building and ITC can be somewhat daunting, so please print out the attached layout maps of the concourse and main floor so you can find your way from whatever entrance you use.

Metro Directions

The Federal Triangle metro stop (orange/blue lines) is located on site, and the Metro Center metro stop (red line) is just two blocks away, and the Smithsonian metro stop (orange/blue lines) is within walking distance.
 

Driving Directions

The International Trade Center is easily accessible from three major international airports - Reagan Washington National, Dulles and BWI. For drivers, an underground garage provides parking for 2,000 cars.

From The North (via I-95)

Follow I-95 South toward Washington to I-495 and exit East.

Follow I-495 East to Route 50 and exit West.

Follow Route 50, which becomes New York Avenue, to L Street and bear right onto L Street.

Follow L Street to 7th Street, NW and turn left.

Follow 7th Street to Constitution Avenue and turn right.

Follow Constitution Avenue to 14th Street and turn right.

The Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center is the second building on the right, approximately mid-block.

Turn right into the parking garage.

From The North (via I-270)

Follow I-270 South toward Washington.

At the I-270 split bear right and follow signs for I-495, Northern Virginia.

Follow I-495 to the George Washington Memorial Parkway (GW Parkway).

Follow the GW parkway to the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge.

Cross the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge, staying to the right, and exit onto Constitution Avenue.

Follow Constitution Avenue to 15th Street and turn left.

Follow 15th Street to Pennsylvania Avenue and turn right.

Follow Pennsylvania Avenue to 13½ Street and turn right to enter the parking garage.

From The South (via I-95/I-395)

Follow I-95 North toward Washington.

I-95 becomes I-395 when you cross I-495. Continue North on I-395.

Follow I-395 across the bridge using either of the two left lanes.

After crossing the bridge, exit US-1 North/14th Street.

Follow US-1/14th Street to Constitution Avenue.

Cross Constitution Avenue and the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center is the second building on the right, approximately mid-block.

Turn right into the parking garage.

From The East (via Route 50 and New York Avenue)

Follow Route 50, which becomes New York Avenue, to L Street and bear right onto L Street.

Follow L Street to 7th Street NW and turn left.

Follow 7th Street to Constitution Avenue and turn right.

Follow Constitution Avenue to 14th Street and turn right.

From The West (via I-66)

Follow I-66 across the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge, staying to the right, and exit onto Constitution Avenue.

Follow Constitution Avenue to 15th Street and turn left.

Follow 15th Street to Pennsylvania Avenue and turn right.

Follow Pennsylvania Avenue to 13½ Street and turn right to enter the parking garage.

Daily Parking

Daily parking (2,000 spaces) is available in our underground parking garage. Access is available via 13½ Street (off Pennsylvania Avenue) and via two entrances on 14th Street from 5:00 am until 2:00 am.

Guests and attendees should allow extra time for parking, as all guests and vehicles are screened upon entry. There is no overnight parking for guests. The maximum overhead clearance in the garage is 7 feet.

The garage layout is somewhat confusing, so if you park in the garage, make sure you take one of the reminder tags by the elevator station so that you can find your car.
